Mortgage Express Amnesty - not just for Mortgage Express! 23rd January 2009

A lot of lucky people have had a letter informing them of the Mortgage Express amnesty on early repayment charges if they redeem their mortgage from February to the end of June.
However, lets not forget that this amnesty is for the whole of the Bradford and Bingley mortgage book. So this means that if you have a Bradford and Bingley mortgage, or took a mortgage out with a lender who subsquently sold your mortgage on to Bradford and Bingley, you too stand to benefit from this deal.
A good example of this is a client whose GMAC mortgage had been sold on to BBG and is currently able to get out of the 6.79% fixed rate mortgage without incurring penalties. With rates for residential mortgages getting better by the day, the saving they will make from switching is significant.
So its not just landlords with Mortgage Express deals who stand to benefit - more good news!
