Mortgages for Business voted Best National Adviser at What Mortgage Awards 2009 - 21.07.2009

Mortgages for Business, the market-leading Buy to Let and Commercial specialist, has won the prestigious “Best National Adviser” award at the 2009 What Mortgage Awards in central London.  A shortlist was drawn up by a panel of industry experts.  Members of the public were then asked to vote for the winners with over 7,000 votes in total.

Mortgages for Business’s “Best National Adviser” award followed successes in the 2008 What Mortgage Awards.  Last year Mortgages for Business won both the “Best Specialist Adviser” and “Best Overall Adviser” awards.  Mortgages for Business was also shortlisted in the “Best Overall Adviser” and “Best buy to let adviser” categories.

David Whittaker, managing director of Mortgages for Business said, “We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award.  We aim to give the best service and advice to customers who are trying to make decisions in a difficult financial climate and this reward is proof of that.  This award is testament to the fact that we’re seen as the best in the business for service not only buy the industry representatives who nominated us, but also by the public who voted for us."

"Winning this award in the face of such stiff competition from other national brokers – like John Charcol, London & Country, MortgageForce and Mortgage Advice Bureau – was a great result and we are extremely proud to have beaten them to the post.  It’s particularly pleasing that the excellence of our advice has been recognised again, following our performance in 2008 when we won in the Best Specialist Adviser and Best Overall Adviser categories.”
