The property development finance figure for a new housing scheme on the Wirral is £3.5 million.
Developers Lovell will carry out the work in the Egremont area of the region, with work set to commence in December.
Some 34 new homes will be created as part of the project, while two existing properties will be developed further.
Geoff Redhead, chief executive of Cosmopolitan Housing Group, the firm behind the development, commented: "All the tenants for these properties will be nominated through Wirral Council and we are looking forward to welcoming them to their new homes."
Lovell announced this week that it has been chosen as a contractor partner by the Rowan Group, an Edinburgh-based consortium of eight housing associations.
The collaboration will see the company work alongside the consortium on a £55 million housing development programme over the next four years.
Regional director for Lovell Alan Taylor said the firm was "delighted" to have been selected and was keen to get to work on constructing "high-quality, energy-efficient affordable homes for residents".
