Business park created in Mansfield - commercial mortgages
09 May 2008
A new business spark is being created in Mansfield after a local firm acquired several sites which it now plans to transform.
Property Investment Portfolio has bought the premises of Paramount Windows in the town centre and will turn them into seven industrial unites, reports Chad.co.uk.
The development may create new opportunities for those looking to take out commercial mortgages as they develop their businesses.
Director Arv Soar commented: "These will be the closest industrial units to the town centre and Mansfield remains one of the cheaper areas of the East Midlands for both residential and commercial property."
Those seeking commercial mortgages in the import sector may have a much larger set of premises in which to operate following the decision by the government to give the green light to the £1.5 billion London Gateway container Port.
Located near Stanford-le-Hope in Essex, the 1,850 acre site will start being constructed later this year, Property Week reports.
