Buy to let a "safe investment"

The recovery of the buy to let housing market has meant that investors can put their money into property with little risk.
That is according to Tom Entwistle, director of LandlordZONE.co.uk, who claimed that prices have stabilised, interest rates remain low and rental demand is still high, making the perfect environment for landlords.
However, he added that it is currently difficult for those looking to start a business portfolio with buy to let properties because lenders are favouring one-off house purchases and are being strict with financing.
Regardless, Mr Entwhistle is positive about the state of the buy to let market.
"Low interest rates on savings and volatile performances of investments, pensions and the stock markets means that UK housing looks a relatively safe investment," he said.
A recent survey by Paragon mortgages found that 21 per cent of landlords are planning to purchase property in the third quarter of the year, compared to 12 per cent in the last three-month period.
