Changes announced at NLA - buy to let mortgages
03 July 2009
Today is the last day of work at the National Landlords Association (NLA) for senior policy officer Elizabeth Brogan.
She leaves the organisation happy with her efforts at the NLA over the last five years.
In a statement this week, Ms Brogan said that she thinks her work has contributed to improving the private rented sector.
Landlords with buy to let mortgages will be among the property professionals who may have benefited from the senior policy officer's projects.
Houses in multiple occupation licensing, fire safety, homelessness and energy efficiency were some of the issues she dealt with during the five-year period.
"I feel the work I have done has made a genuine contribution to improving the reputation of the sector - an improvement which was ultimately demonstrated in the outcome of the Rugg review," Ms Brogan explained.
Her departure comes as Barry Markham was welcomed back to the group's board of directors after stepping down last winter.
