Commercial mortgage news: Property consultancy adds office space to portfolio

People looking for commercial mortgages may be interested to know that an Altrincham-based company has taken over the management of a shop and office space.

Regional Property Solutions' business real estate portfolio is now worth around £77 million following the addition of new assets.

 A private investor passed a £5 million 20,000-sq ft shop in Southport to the company as well as an office building.

Managing director of the firm Charles Murray told the Manchester Evening News the organisation now manages around 6.35 million sq ft of commercial property.

This includes a 50,000-sq ft transport depot in Batley and a 20,000-sq ft retail outlet in Scarborough that were recently passed on to the management team.

Mr Murray said that the firm now looks after assets from central London to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, saying this "confirms our ability to manage property throughout the UK".

RPS was established in 2000 and the offices it deals with include some in Altrincham, Wilmslow and Manchester Airport.
