Expert highlights UK investment opportunities commercial mortgages

Some commercial property experts are recommending that the time is right for investors to diversify into UK property, highlighting appealing opportunities and strong potential yields.

Experts at Invista Real Estate Investment Management stresses that investors could do well to focus on the UK and Europe, whose commercial property markets offer lucrative investment opportunities and attractive returns.

As such these markets remain attractive for businesses looking for good property deals, including those prepared to take out commercial mortgages. Mark Long of Invista maintains this view.

"Savvy investors should hold a balanced portfolio with exposure to both UK and European property in order to maximize the benefits of diversification," he told What Investment.

In addition, it is thought that many European markets are catching up with the UK in terms of returns and yield potential, as eastern Europe catches up with the West in terms of commercial property market activity.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has reported a boost in UK commercial property demand across the country.
