Finance could be spent 'on monochrome interiors'

Property development finance could be spent on making changes to the interiors of homes, which may have surprisingly effective results.
Interior designer Carolyn Trevor recommends using splashes of vibrant colour alongside a monochrome scheme to easily update an interior.
Landlords who are looking to develop a property may consider following Ms Trevor's advice.
Using different pain finishes can make a statement and could meant that a property stands out from the rest.
"This look for 2010 is heavily influenced by the global economic meltdown and this particular mix gives the look an urban edginess," Ms Trevor explained.
Her predictions echo the sentiments of Katrina Burroughs who wrote for the Times last month.
Ms Burroughs explained that monochrome makes a come-back each year. Shadowy, gothic takes on the trend resulting from vampire-chic inspired by Twilight are expected to be popular this time around.
The Crown Colour Trend 2010 report recommended Plush as a theme for the year.
It involves rich colours and intense textures that create a "tragically beautiful" finish and could be combined with monochrome effects for maximum impact.
