Finance 'should be managed and projects planned'

Property development finance may be best used if budgets are properly planned and managed.
This is the advice of interior designer and spokesperson for the Ideal Home show Linda Barker, who offered the advice to people wanting to make home improvements.
Minimalist looks were popular in recent years, but it seems there is a move away from this and towards colour and pattern.
Barker added that individuality is the key to property development this year.
As much information as possible should be gleaned before people part with their finances.
"That is about looking in show rooms and houses and getting recommendations and all that kind of thing is really important," Barker claimed.
Compromises need not be made when it comes to getting a look right, since many middle market providers copy high-end trends.
Barker's suggestions follow predictions from House Beautiful magazine, which claimed that retro products with a 1950s vibe would be seen this year.
