Fresh offices proposed in Mansfield - commercial mortgages

New offices could be created in Mansfield if proposals are given the go ahead there by the district council, something that may interest those looking for commercial mortgages.

Mr S Nettleship has submitted the plans for the Speeds Garage site on Nottingham Road, which could see the generation of apartments and offices, reports the Mansfield Chad.

Opponents of the move have stated that the venue could be too big and damage the area but those planning it argued that the impact would be limited.

Two buildings will be built if the green light is afforded to the project, with office space and living space featuring in both of them.

In total, 1,530 sq ft of offices will be the result of the groundwork - one of the buildings will have six storeys while the other three storeys. The former will have parking in the basement.

Mansfield is based in Nottinghamshire and has a population of almost 170,000. It sits on the River Maun.
