Gladman launches national expansion - commercial mortgages
03 October 2007
Commercial property firm Gladman has announced that it is to expand across the UK in an effort to increase its presence in the sector.
The firm is attempting to capitalise on the profits enjoyed by many with commercial mortgages around the country by opening an office in Newcastle as well as planning to expand its existing Scotland office.
Gladman''s turnover is already expected to double to £400 million by 2010, according to the Manchester Evening News.
"Scotland represents one of Gladman''s major growth areas within the UK market, and we are looking to acquire sites for new developments throughout the country, in towns with a population of more than 15,000," commented Gladman Developments director David Gladman.
"The north east of England is [also] a very important market for us," Mr Gladman added.
Gladman''s recent activity saw it last month submit proposals for a new £5 million office development to Carlisle county council.
