There are positive and negative aspects to locating a business in a Midtown property in central London.
This is according to inmidtown chief executive officer Tass Mavrogordato, who explained the office space available is generally large and quite expensive.
Smaller companies and start-ups can find cheaper deals in the suburbs, the expert pointed out.
However, many firms wish to be based in the capital and those situated in the centre have "great transport connections", she continued.
"There is a lot to support businesses", with a wide array of sectors represented in the Midtown region, Ms Mavrogordato added.
She noted it has creative industries and firms involved in hospitality next door to legal professionals, stating that it is "very close to the courts".
"It's a really good healthy mix," the expert claimed.
This echoes the viewpoints of British Council for Offices chief executive Richard Kauntze, who called London "one of two genuine world cities" and highlighted Central St Giles, Bloomsbury and Holborn as key places to locate an enterprise.
