Property development finance may be required by developers of a new project in Leeds.
Feilden Clegg Bradley revealed designs for the Leeds construction at Mipim today (March 16th). The conference is held in Cannes and sees representatives from the world's property industry meet and hold talks.
The Commercial Estates Group (CEG) development unveiled at the event will see the Kirkstall Forge project build many waterside homes and offices.
It is aiming for a BREEAM rating of excellent on the site's commercial constructions, so property development finance may need to be spent on making the buildings as green as possible.
Development manager at CEG Charles Johnson said there will also be a railway station built on the site, meaning that "Kirkstall Forge will be only a six minute journey from Leeds city centre".
Boris Johnson is due to give a keynote address at Mipim today and will explain how London has approached planning in the city.
