Lender to host business seminars - commercial mortgages
30 April 2009
Small and medium-sized enterprises seeking advice on issues such as commercial mortgages may be interested in seminars being held by a lender next month.
Barclays has announced that it will be hosting 35 free events for small companies in different locations around the UK, starting in Nottingham on May 6th.
Local business marketing director John Davis explained that the seminars are designed to help firms make "fundamental improvements" to their operations, to assist them through the economic downturn.
"The skills and networking opportunities that business owners pick up at these seminars will certainly help them to go on to survive," he commented.
Some of the issues that will be covered during discussions include profits, marketing and planning for the future.
Meanwhile, business minister Shriti Vadera has said that it is "crucial" for companies to understand the level of support that is available to them from banks and the government.
