Lettings agent shortlisted for award - buy to let mortgages

Young London has revealed that it has been shortlisted to receive an accolade at the upcoming Estate & Letting Agent Awards in London.

The event, which may be of interest to those with buy to let mortgages, is sponsored by PSG, with the honours being based on a questionnaire filled in by customers of agents.

Phil Spencer of Channel 4 television series Location, Location, Location will present the awards to the winners at a ceremony next month at the Marriott Hotel in London.

He commented: "Throughout the property industry there is a constant need to improve customer service."

Neil Young, the chief executive of Young Group, expressed his delight at being nominated for an award, saying he was pleased that "our landlords have voted us one of the best agents in London".

Meanwhile, Timothy Lambert of consultancy firm Ducalian has urged property investors not to wait for the market to bottom out before making a purchase as now is an "ideal" time to buy.
