People setting up a business may wish to establish it in London.
This is because it has been described as "unquestionably one of the world's greatest cities" by British Council for Offices chief executive Richard Kauntze.
It could be a good place for a commercial mortgage, as he noted it has a wide range of talent.
"It's such a big city and an international city", the expert remarked, pointing out that companies such as restaurants, elite law firms and investment banks can use this to their advantage by finding the best candidate for vacancies.
The capital has a vibrancy that is "very unusual", with New York the only place that could "offer anything similar", Mr Kauntze stated.
London "is one of the world's most international, multi-cultural, dynamic cities", but it has a downside in that it is also one of the most expensive, he said.
Mr Kauntze had previously recommended Mayfair, Victoria and St James as good districts in the capital in which to locate an enterprise.
