Manchester property ''still performing well'' - commercial mortgages

While the UK commercial property industry has suffered a downturn, the situation in Manchester is far more favourable, it has been reported, news which may interest those thinking of taking out commercial mortgages.
A number of experts are optimistic about the city because of a number of major projects in the pipeline, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Forthcoming developments will include deals involving the Co-Operative Group and Bank of New York Mellon, with Ask Developments tipped to win a competition provide the Co-Operative group with its new head office at its proposed three million sq ft Central Spine development.
The commercial property scene in Manchester is not the only location which is said to be seeing positive signs.
Earlier this month the Peterborough Evening Telegraph reported that the East Anglian city is enjoying a surge in interest from firms looking to relocate to new premises.
