Morris moves into commercial property commercial mortgages

Morris has announced plans to enter the commercial property market in a £200 million move, due to launch a number of dedicated commercial property projects in the future.
With its latest foray into the commercial property sector the Leeds-based company will be extending new opportunities for businesses in the region looking for premises, including those with commercial mortgages.
In order to meet its new goals the company has appointed commercial property consultant Paul Morris in the role of director.
"Morris Property is one of the fastest growing and most exciting property companies in the UK," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"I am joining at an exciting period for Morris Property and with up to £200 million to invest in commercial property projects," he added
Leeds has emerged as a major region for property deals in Yorkshire over the past year, having won a number of prominent honours at the recent Yorkshire Property awards.
Highlights include the regeneration of the Round Foundry in Holbeck.
