Office block hope for Bolton - commercial mortgages
06 August 2008
In news that may interest those with commercial mortgages, an office development in Bolton has been completed and is seeking interest from companies keen to take advantage of the building's advantageous location.
Located near the Market Place Shopping Centre, the eight-floor office block has been developed by Gordon Moon Properties, the Bolton news reports.
Strong interest in the development has already been noted by Judith Rands of estate agents Miller Metcalfe.
"Several major companies have looked at the offices, with one local occupier looking at 30,000 sq ft. The firms are mainly call centre operators and general administrators," she told the paper.
Ms Rand added that commercial developments in Manchester's Spinningfields area have been successful after attracting professionals such as lawyers and accountants.
Another north-west office development is to take place in Liverpool following consent from the city council there.
The historic Lewis building owned by Merepak and Capital & Counties is to undergo a £105 million redevelopment which will see the creation of office space, a public plaza and a boutique hotel, Propertyweek.com reports.
