Those looking for commercial mortgages may be interested to read about a new development scheme in Oswestry, which will be unveiled to the public next week.
A supermarket, cinema, DIY store and care facilities are part of the plan, which would occupy the two sites currently held by manufacturing and distribution sites Richard Burbidge Ltd, the Border Counties Advertizer reports.
"This team has created an exciting plan for the site, which meets many of the town''s future requirements," commented Richard Burbidge chief executive Steve Underhill, according to the publication.
Around 500 jobs are hoped to be created by the new development, if it is approved.
Development consultant Peter Vernon said Oswestry is looking at a separate proposal for a retail development at Smithfield Cattle Market and added that it is important "both proposals are considered by the local planning authority with similar timeframes".
Oswestry is located in Shropshire, close to the Welsh border.
