'Plenty of opportunities' for commercial property mortgages

People considering taking out a commercial property mortgage may have seized upon the opportunities that have been described as still available in the market.
The Business Desk explained how experts at the State of Play - Property another year on seminar in Leeds commented that there are signs of improvement in the sector.
Paul Clarke, partner at PKF accountancy firm which sponsored the event, stated that "there are opportunities to be had for those businesses with entrepreneurial spirit".
He went on to add: "It is important that these opportunities are capitalised on to ensure a steady and sustained increase in business activity."
Individuals considering investing in the sector were advised that due to the changing political and economic landscape different working practices to those previously seen would need to be adopted in order for people to enjoy success.
Justin Cooke, chair of the British Interactive Media Association and chief executive of Fortune Cookie, recently stated that banks should be more willing to lend businesses money as more companies are regaining confidence in the economy.
