Property specialists expand - commercial mortgages

A property specialist firm has revealed expansion plans, news which may be seen by those with commercial mortgages as a sign of confidence in the property market.

Venmore Commercial announced it is to set up a new office in Southport this month, with a walk-in facility for clients, reports Property Executive.

Commercial partner Peter Brack said there was unfulfilled demand for such services in the town, which Venmore could meet.

He stated: "We believe Southport needs greater commercial property expertise, there is no other dedicated commercial team in the town."

Mr Brack stated that the company was particularly strong in leisure industry property.

The news of the expansion follows last week''s announcement by the Royal Bank of Scotland that it is adding two new members to its Manchester commercial property team.

It takes the total number of experts at the bank''s Spinningfields office to 40, Property Executive reported.
