Regent Street ''doing well'' - commercial mortgages
29 May 2008
Those seeking commercial mortgages may want to explore property development opportunities on London''s Regent Street, following comments made by The Crowne Estate.
David Shaw, head of Regent Street strategy and development at the organisation, told PropertyWeek.com that the area "is a successful place for business as well as retail".
All of the Regent Street office buildings developed by The Crown Estate over the past six years have been completely let, he explained.
The last remaining vacant space in One Heddon Street - part of the organisation''s portfolio - has just recently been let to Harvard Office Business Centres, which is looking to add to its range of properties.
Other businesses currently located in the building include AbsolutIceBar and Momo, while Tibits restaurant is set to move in this autumn.
Another addition to the UK commercial property market is Building 500 at Abbey Park in Stoneleigh, which has just one more development phase to complete before it can open, the Birmingham Post reports.
