Sheffield office phase completed
02 September 2008
Phase two of a commercial property scheme in Sheffield has been completed.
Carillion Developments' The Square contains six floors of grade A office accommodation over 42,000 sq ft, the Business Desk reports.
The project could be a potential investment for those with commercial mortgages.
Development director Neil McMillan told the news source that the transformation of the site makes "a striking addition to the approach to the city".
"We are delighted with the latest office accommodation and look forward to welcoming new occupiers to The Square in due course", he added.
The previous phase welcomed its first occupiers in March when South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive took over 43,000 sq ft of space.
Future phases of the project will add three further office buildings, taking the amount of space available to 250,000 sq ft.
Construction firm Carillion employs around 50,000 people and has a yearly revenue of £5 billion. It has operations in several locations across the world, including Canada, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
