Upturn in commercial activity noted - commercial mortgages
03 July 2009
An increase in enquiries related to commercial finance products has been noted by independent buy to let mortgages and commercial mortgages expert Mortgages for Business.
Michael Aglony, marketing manager at the firm, said that there has been a noticeable upturn in interest regarding commercial cases over the last month or so.
"We have seen an increase - definitely in enquiries and things going through," he explained. On the commercial side of things, it is more positive than quite a few other areas."
Having assessed Mortgages for Business figures, Mr Aglonya noted a 171 per cent hike in commercial cases between the first and second quarters of 2009.
This, he said, indicates "the positive shift" that has emerged in recent times.
His comments come after DTZ published its Money into Property report last month, which found that London was the world's only office market that offered so-called fair value.
