As a qualified bank manager with 22 years experience of all aspects of high street and business banking, Nick was well positioned to switch to Mortgages for Business in November 2000. On leaving Natwest, Nick had developed a business base of 250 high net worth customers within two years. Many of his clients had extensive property holdings as well as trading businesses.

Steve qualifies for longest serving broker on the London team having joined in May 1995, following various senior roles within Barclays Bank and Allied Irish Bank. Specialisation during his banking career included generating new corporate asset finance, leasing and commercial mortgage business from new and existing customers. During his time at Allied Irish Bank, Steve successfully established a new dedicated Commercial Mortgage Brokerage unit, which comfortably exceeded its business targets.

Chris held various senior management roles within the Natwest Bank over a 27 year career. These included Personal Banking Manager at the Mayfair and St James' offices with a portfolio of over 400 high net worth customers and Securities and Investments Manager at the Piccadilly branch. He moved to Mortgages for Business in May 1999 and has been at the forefront of tailoring our Buy to Let offering to clients over the internet.

Paul enjoyed a 15 year career with Barclays Bank, the last six years of which were as a Branch Manager, where he managed a large number of client relationships for personal, small business and corporate customers. He also had responsibility for five other branches within the group network. Paul continued his work in the finance industry by joining Mortgages for Business in August 2003.

Popy's career in the Mortgage industry started in March 2004 when she secured a job as a Mortgage advisor for an Independent Broker Firm specialising in residential mortgages, term assurance and general insurance. Since then, Popy has gained her CeMAP qualification and she started to work for Mortgages for Business in May 2006. Prior to her work in the Mortgage industry Popy gained significant experience within the retail sector.

Jeni began working in the Mortgage industry when she achieved her Financial Planning Certificate ten years ago. She has worked for several large firms (including John Charcol mortgage brokerage) building up a broad knowledge of the Buy to Let and Commercial market. She has worked with a vast array of portfolio clients and assisted many clients maximise their SIPP borrowing potential via Commerical Property prior to the A-Day changes. More recently Jeni obtained her Advanced CeMap qualification.

Jo has been in the financial services industry for 18 years, working in different environments, a consultant within an estate agency, financial advisor with Pearl Assurance, selling investments, pensions,savings and mortgages. Jo has also worked in a building society, and held responsibility for mortgage lending to existing cutomers.
More recently Jo ran her own mortgage brokerage successfully, building up a client bank mainly from referrals from within the Metropolitan Police Force. From there Jo joined Mortgages for Business to set up a new residential department, which has now been running for almost a year.

Laura started her career in the mortgage industry in 1999, working with Portman Building Society as a Residential Mortgage Advisor. Laura completed the CeMap qualification in 2002 and has since been building her knowledge of the residential mortgage industry by working with several large mortgage companies both on a tied and independent basis. Laura started with Mortgages for Business in April 2007 as a Case Manager and in December 2007 she was promoted to residential mortgage consultant for Mortgages for Me.
